This is the shortest post ever -- a memory of a 20-year-old vulgarity that made me laugh.

My sister recently left a job where she worked for a real nut. Their business was butt wipes. Pretty simple. Below is the text from an email that boss man sent the advertising agency describing a commercial he wanted to make. All wording and grammer are exactly as he sent them, with the excitation that I've replaced the brand name with blanks.

A couple of months ago, I started hearing a conversation here, a radio host there, maybe an occasional podcast where someone pulled a joke from stuffwhitepeoplelike.com. Several times, I thought, "That sounds amusing. I should check it out." But thoughts like that are quickly out of mind.

I was driving down my street this morning, and I passed a crew from a tree service grinding an enormous stump out of the ground in someone's front yard. I had the top down on my Jeep, and the smell of the wood being ground to bits reminded me of a story. My Uncle Johnny and Aunt Helen live in an old house on a big lot with plenty of trees. Once upon a time, it was out in the sticks, but the town has grown up around them, and they're now in an old house on a big, tree-lined lot, surrounded by strip malls and pharmacies.
