This is kind of a steam of conciousness post, where I start with the state of our kitchen, work in some info on a ChatGPT experiment I did a few months ago and then reflect on how bad artificially generated content is. Too bad we see it everywhere now.

There are a lot of upcoming changes to the site, as I still try to get all of the old stuff re-posted. Not much here, other than to report on some planning that we've done, as well as some info on what site stuff is coming up. We finish up enumerating how immensely popular theskinnyonbenny family is this week.

This year, I moved the site to a new web host for the first time. Since theskinny was the very, very first thing I ever did on the internet, it's chok-a-block full of pages that were developed really, really wrong. That means that pretty much every page, feed, menu, and link broke when I moved domains.

When I decided that I wanted to write a web log, it was just the because I wanted to write. Sure, I could have kept a private journal, and I even tried to do that a time or two. But as much as I like to read, I don't really like to read my own writing. I know that doesn't make much sense, but that's the way it is. The idea of writing pages of stuff into a journal that no one would ever read seemed rather silly to me.

Yes, I realize that posting my thoughts on the internet is a bit geeky. That must really disappoint those of you who are still nursing the idea that I'm about as cool as they come.
