The "free live music" aspect of living in Louisiana begins in earnest this weekend. This morning, I checked the bands lined up for Live After Five in Baton Rouge, the Sunday morning live concerts in Baton Rouge, the French Quarter festival this weekend, and for the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival, also this weekend. From the Ponchatoula site, I couldn't resist copying a picture of the king and queen, for its unintentional comedy.
